Jewelry Process

The Firing Process

At our workshop in Bali, we believe that beautiful things take time. Make every piece of handmade jewelry with our hands and our hearts.
When you wear our Bali silver ring, a beautiful necklace, or a handmade bracelet, you get more than just a regular item. Every single piece has a beautiful story. It shows the true culture of Balinese art and the love of our local artists. Because it is 100% handmade, no two pieces are exactly the same. You will always have a unique item that belongs only to you.
In Bali we made beautiful jewelry always start with a bright, hot fire. Inside our quiet, traditional workshops, the artist takes pieces of hard, pure silver and puts them into a small bowl over the heat.
They wait patiently and watch the fire do it's work. For our local artists, this is a very special and magical moment. It is a tradition that has been done for hundreds of years.
The Way of Hammering

This is the famous sound in our workshop hitting the metal. After the liquid silver cools down and becomes hard again, the artist uses old, traditional tools to shape it. They hit the silver very carefully to make it strong and to give it the perfect shape, like a round ring or a nice bracelet.
This sound is like the heartbeat of our village. It is a song of hard work that families have played for many generations. Fathers teach this special skill to their children. With every single hit of the hammer, the artist puts their love, their energy, and their deep focus into the cold metal, making it feel warm and alive.
This is the step where the jewelry gets its beautiful and unique face. After the silver has a strong shape, our artists use very small, sharp tools to cut tiny, pretty lines into the metal. This is called carving. These small lines tell a beautiful story. They show the amazing nature of Bali, like blooming lotus flowers, green tropical leaves, and beautiful ocean waves.
